The African Tapestries Collection consists of the five awe-inspiring albums from the “African Tapestries” series - “Temba” (Hope), is the first in the collection.

“The Smoke That Thunders” brings a more personal experience of Hennie Bekker’s time growing up near Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

“Kusasa” (Tomorrow), pays tribute to his homeland and “Jabula” offers the feeling and essence of ‘jabula’, which means “to be happy” in Zulu.

The newest addition to the series, “Amani” (Peace) is a masterpiece of ambient and world music.

The “African Tapestries Collection” is an expedition of world music interwoven with the sounds and rhythms from Bekker’s roots. His unique ability to connect memories with his music allows the listener to experience Africa in a whole new way.
